As follows, you have the detailed information about the upcoming coaching courses. It will be run in English and is focused on youth development (U-13 till U-19), and how a top club like Cruzeiro uses its academy to develop skills in players of different age groups in preparation for the scouting process.

Soccer Express and Cruzeiro Esporte Clube (runners up of Brazilian Championship 2010 and runners up of South America Libertadores Cup in 2009 will organize the V Cruzeiro International Coaching Course in March 2012 and VI Cruzeiro International Coaching Course in June 2012.

As follows, you have the detailed information:

1. V and VI CRUZEIRO INTERNATIONAL COACHING COURSE

PLACE: BELO HORIZONTE, MG - SOUTHEAST OF BRAZIL

DATES: 24 TO 31 MARCH 2012
Coaches shall arrive in the evening of March 23rd at Belo Horizonte city (CNF) Confins International airport. Course will be from morning of March 24th till morning of March 31st. Coaches shall leave at 2 pm on March 31st.

DATES: 23 TO 30 JUNE 2012
Coaches shall arrive in the evening of June 22nd at Belo Horizonte City (CNF) Confins International airport. Course will be from morning of June 23rd till morning of June 30th. Coaches shall leave at 2 pm on June 30th.


Course fee: USD $1,300.00 for the 7 day course

Includes:
Accommodation to Hotel for foreigners only, located at Toca da Raposa I
(Training complex of Cruzeiro youth teams) with double rooms, private toilets, air conditioning and wireless internet.
4 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack)
Transportation for all activities of the course.
Certificates given to coaches, issued by CBF (Brazilian Confederation) and FMF (Minas Gerais State Football Federation) including a CD with lectures.

The Brazilian Soccer Coaching License Program is offered two times a year (once in July and once in December) in Rio de Janeiro to American coaches interested in learning and improving their knowledge of the game with the best Brazilian coaches.

Special emphasis is placed on the philosophy of coaching soccer players and understanding the physical and psychological aspects of coaching players. The course will also cover:

• Refereeing
• Administration, Marketing & Business
• Sports Nutrition
• Physical Therapy
• Physiology of the Exercises
• Initial and Competitive levels of soccer

The course will take place at the Army Physical Education Fortaleza Sao Joao – Urca, Rio de Janeiro, RJ.

All coaches will receive a Certificate by Rio de Janeiro’s Professional Coaching Association for the fifty-hour intensive course. Come enjoy our course and have the experience of a lifetime with the best coaches from Brazilian professional soccer.
